“US Government adds solar panels to the roof of every car”

News from the Natural World: The US Government will add solar panels to the roof of every new car in the USA.

The US Government passed the new law with an overwhelming majority. The law is a direct response to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and take a large step towards using renewable energy sources. The USA currently gets 81% of its total energy from oil, coal, and natural gas, all of which are fossil fuels. In addition conservative estimates put U.S. direct subsidies to the fossil fuel industry at roughly $20 billion per year.

Burning these fossil fuels is not only contributing to climate change, but also causing health problems, destroying the wilderness, and releasing toxins such as mercury and arsenic into human communities. Pollution from burning coal alone is responsible for 30% of the climate change pollution in the U.S. Coal mining ravishes vast areas of land, destroys rivers, and has significant environmental effects on local communities and wildlife.

Even worse, as petroleum oil becomes rarer and more costly, companies are trying to create even dirtier fuels to drive our transportation sector: tar sands, oil shale, and coal to liquids. All of these dangerous dirty fuels emit even greater levels of climate change pollution. In addition they come with a unique set of risks to human health, landscapes, and water resources.

The US public was outraged by the findings of the report and immediately protested against the USA’s rampant use and support of fossil fuels. Trump was fired from office overnight. He was replaced by Brad the Bison who acted as a symbol of the destruction done to the US wilderness. Brad the Bison immediately vowed to reduce reliance on fossil fuels. He also promised that not a single job would be lost.

Brad said that “if we want to stop climate change we have to stop burning fossil fuels. Simple. We have to act now in small incremental steps that in time will mass up to insurmountable change and the long term abolishment of burning fossil fuels.” He introduced a new law immediately that every single car in the country will have solar panels fitted to the roof and bonnet. Every single car. These cars will help convert electricity that will help power electric cars. Those without electric cars will be able to connect their cars up to their homes generator.
