News from the Natural World: Scientists are relying too heavily on facts and figures to convince the human public of climate change.
The world of human scientists has finally admitted that they have been using too many facts in the fight against fossil fuels. The human scientists had always thought that simply using logic, decades of scientific research and common sense that the human race would be convinced of the effects of climate change. However, they have discovered that it has had the opposite effect. The majority of humans feel insecure, defensive and angry when they hear a fact that they don’t understand.
This is the natural human reaction when presented with something that they can’t comprehend. In the animal kingdom, we refer to this as ‘Naked Mole Rat Ambition”. Because the climate scientists consistently attempted to rely on an endless barrage of logical facts and deep science they have alienated the majority of humanity. This majority simply do not want to listen to facts and certainly don’t want to feel that they are part of the problem. In addition they REALLY don’t want to change any aspect of their rampant capitalist consumer lives.
But the climate scientists have realised the error of their ways. No longer will they try and persuade the human public, its politicians or businesses with facts. They have turned to an unlikely source of inspiration in the war on climate change, the Fossil Fuel PR Chain! The human scientists will start using the same tactics that the Oil & Gas companies use for their lavishly funded fossil fuel PR campaigns. These huge and rich organisations use denial, misinformation and fake news to attack the facts of the scientists. They speak a language that most humans can understand. One of lies, deceit and simple answers to complex problems.
