Number 36 – Inka Cresswell
Inka has an uncanny knack for photography, and through it, she tells stories about research efforts, conservation successes and defeats and works to change peoples perspectives of some of the worlds most misunderstood species. From attempting to portray the lesser viewed calm interactions with a cruising Great White Shark to documenting the intimate moment an apex predator comes face to face with the free divers working to conserve their species. Her images always manage to tell a story, educate the humans about these unique encounters and the individuals working behind the scenes to save the animals. This year she released – “My 25 – The Ocean Between Us” and we cannot wait to see what she does next. She also has the ability to connect with younger audiences and is inspiring a new generation of activists.
