News from the Natural World: Influencer finally saves the whole planet with a perfect piece of content.
Creating the perfect piece of content has long been the human races greatest ambition. In the 20th Century, there was the space race. This was a high-level scientific battle to be the first to put a human on the moon. It involved vast amounts of scientific analysis, colossal knowledge of astro-psychics and pushed the limits of human experience. The 21st century saw the creation of social media and an altogether different race. The race to create the perfect piece of content.

The human hurled themselves upon platform after platform in a mad frenzy. But there was one called Instagram which was the most likely to hold the perfect piece of content. They would stop at nothing, there was no shame or self-respect. They would create content during mental health breakdowns, from hospital beds, whilst pranking strangers and use their children as entertainment vehicles. It was just endless. But it didn’t stop there. A new threat emerged. The collapse of the natural world. The destruction of nature threatened to thwart their aims to create the perfect post. But then humans realised that the climate crisis could be solved in a really simple way. All they had to do was create the greatest piece of content the world had ever seen. But who was behind all this meaningless drivel?
Influencer Finally Saves the Planet
These content creators became known as influencers. The influencers continued to create at alarming rates. Post after post, hashtag after hashtag and emotional message after emotional message. They knew if they just got the ingredients right the perfect post would save the natural world. Just the right lighting, the right type of succulents and the shade of plant pot. Just enough cleavage or abs. A smattering of enough false narcissism and maybe, just maybe their self-righteous eco posing would get some more likes. Well, the race was on, would a creator do it? Could a human create the perfect piece of content and save the human race?
